Chicca Primitivo di Manduria – Another special jewel in our Primitivo range!
How is this rich, characterful red wine made? The grapes are harvested from 50-year-old vines in the South Taranto area, at a rate of around 4-5000 kg per hectare. Thanks to the rich must, it is produced by spontaneous fermentation without any control.
After fermentation, it rests for at least 8 months in large barrels. Alcohol content 15+4%.
Its unique taste has aromas of ripe plum, cherry and blackcurrant. Its fruity, rich flavour is perfect on its own to top off a relaxing evening, but it also looks great on the dinner table.
