Verdeca del Salento IGP – 100% Verdeca
An airy, vibrantly fresh southern Italian white wine from the heart of Salento. Made for pairing with fish dishes and light salads, when you want something really refreshing, not heavy yet with character.
Verdeca del Salento is pale straw yellow in colour, with fine greenish reflections and a crystal clear appearance. The nose has intense white floral aromas and delicate citrus notes. Tasted with a salty-ambery sensation, it is decidedly fresh with a medium body – a balanced, clean, extremely drinkable style.
The grapes are gently and gently pressed and fermented at 14°C in temperature-controlled steel vats. The ageing is carried out entirely in stainless steel to ensure that the freshness and primary fruitiness of the variety are fully preserved.
